Allied Health Sciences

The Allied Health Sciences Service at Ruhengeri Level Two Teaching Hospital (RL2TH) is responsible for coordinating, managing, and strengthening healthcare support services that complement medical diagnosis, treatment, and patient care. The service plays a vital role in delivering comprehensive and integrated healthcare through various specialized allied health services.

The Allied Health Sciences Service provides essential healthcare support through different professional units, including laboratory services, medical imaging, nutrition support, pharmacy services, rehabilitation, and other diagnostic and therapeutic services that contribute to effective patient management.

Overview

The Directorate of Allied Health Sciences operates under the Clinical Services Division. Allied Health encompasses a broad range of therapeutic and diagnostic services delivered across the hospital. The departments and units work closely with patients and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and service delivery at Ruhengeri Level Two Teaching Hospital.
