Today 20th July, in Ruhengeri Level 2 Teaching Hospital, we were blessed to host a special Visit by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health, Mr. Zachee IYAKAREMYE, with his team from the Ministry, Noella BIGIRIMANA, DDG in RBC, Eng. Francine UMUTESI and Division Manager/MTI from RBC, coming with a Delegation from AFD (Mr. Philippe Orliange, the Executive Director of Geographies and Rwanda Office Officials).

The purpose of this visit was for a joint site observation, hearing and exchanging with us, the primary beneficiaries around the project regarding the new hospital construction.

The team was welcomed by the Vice Mayor in Charge of Social Affairs in Musanze District, who was representing the Mayor, President of the Hospital Health Committee and with the Hospital Management Committee.

The visit was commenced by a presentation of the project by the Hospital DG, Dr. MUHIRE Philbert, then the team rounded the proposed construction site and some different Hospital Departments.

After this, the General Consensus was that all Project Stakeholders agreed on playing each side’s part to get the next processes covered as soon as possible.

We highly commend the efforts of the Ministry Leadership to optimize all commitments and activities towards the successful implementation of this project.
