Today, Tuesday, 3^rd September, 2024, the DG of Ruhengeri Hospital, Dr.MUHIRE Philbert, has  received the USAID GHS Technical Advisor,  Stephanie Martz.

The main purpose of the visit is to assess how this Hospital complies with WHO IPC Standards, in collaboration with the USAID Tubeho Project, implemented by JhpiegoRwanda.

Among the implemented activities, they conduct supportive supervision, support reducing the incidence of Healthcare Associated Infections, support facilities to conduct drills on responding to suspect introduction of infectious agents, assess highly infectious diseases in isolation units, conduct trainings of community lookouts, ... .

After a brief presentation and a short tour, both sides underline the importance of this cooperation.
